1. VOCATIONAL & HANDICRAFT TRAINING PROGRAM
Keeping in the mind the objectives of removal of poverty by reducing the problems of employment the society has started a vocational training program. In this training Women & youth are provided training in different field like knitting & Tailoring, chikan Embroidery, type and shorthand, food processing, fashion designing etc. by experienced trainer. In this center trainees are provided training in field of Manual Art known as Handicraft. The main aim of this program is to make the trainers so skilled that they may become self dependent and stand on their own feet.
2. COMPUTER EDUCATUON & TRAINING PROGRAM
Considering the growing importance of the computer education and the employment opportunities available in the field of information technologies the society has started a computer training center aimed at providing good computer education to needy and poor youth. At presents there are a number of student attending a training imparted at our institute.
3. ENVIORNMENT AWARNESS PROGRAM
The society organized a camp at district on world environment day to discuss the impact of growing pollution on the human health an environment. The eminent speaker discusses the factors lending to increase in all types of pollution including water, air and sound pollution. It was felt that there is need to speeded the process of removing old vehicle, reduce the use of plastics, compulsory use of effluent treatment plants by the industries and all other methods which can be helpful in reducing and controlling the pollution.
On the same day the society organized program comprising of a planting contest and a debate on the issues concerning pollution. A number of students were participating participants of different schools. At the end of the program prizes were distributed among the winner of the contest.
4. AWARNESS PROGRAMM ON WOMAN RIGHT
The society has organized a program on women right at district. Most of women participants attend this program. The NGO’s and the member of society told about the fundamental rights of the women and also ask to educate all the women in rural & Urban areas that they became able to face the problem which always happen to their life time to time.
5. WELFARE & EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR STREET CHILDREN
Welfare program for street persons was organized by member of society on Human Right Day, Medicine, fruits, clothes and many other things were distributed among the street children. Primary Educational Program was also started by the volunteers. Books and other Educational material was also distributed free of cost among the children.
6. FAMILY COUNSELING CENTER
To help the people society established a Family Counseling Center. In this center member tries to solve the problem of people about their family and also told them about the shelter homes for the needy women that they become able to settle them.
7. RURAL & AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Under the rural development program of the society the farmers of two villages of block of district were informed about the method of the scientific agriculture. On the occasion improved the methods of the scientific agriculture. On the occasion improved seeds were distributed free of cost among the villagers. Apart from this they were demonstrated the methods of preparing vermicompost. Further the farmer were demonstrated the bio-dynamic manure and were encouraged to adapt the methods of non-organic farming.
The participants of this program were benefited largely and agreed to encourage other to join these method of non-organic farming.
8. AWARNESS PROGRAM FOR HANDICAPPED
The society has taken a number of steps included distribution of necessary Equipments to the handicapped. Further it has plan to establish a school for the handicapped, other measure taken by the society includes raising awareness about the handicapped so that they do not get separated in the society, apart from this the society arranged the painting. Competitions among the disabled to explore their talent in the field, society has planned to sell these paintings. The society is planning to establish a school for the benefit to the disabled people.
9. YOUTH WELFARE PROGRAM
For social upliftment of youth members of the society organized Youth Welfare Program.
10. HEALTHCARE AWARNESS CAMP
Woman & Child Health care program was organized to making women aware from about their health needs and nutrition were organized by the society. This program was organized by the rural women in large number and it was felt by the attendant that this kind of the program was very useful in our villages where women e\were aware about various kind of schemes formed and executed by the different government department for welfare of the women either it is in education, employment or technical guidance etc.
The women participating in the program were informed about need for education in the self reliance of the women. They realized the need for education and agreed to send their children particularly the girl child to school. Further it was resolved that the society will further organize similar program in the near future.
11. CONDENSED COURSE
Condensed courses are also started by the society at district by the help of the members.
12. WATER CONSERVATION, SANITATION & HYGIENE AWARNESS PROGRAM
Drinking water, sanitation & Hygiene awareness program was organized by the society. The main aim of the society is to provide pure & clear water so the wells, tube wells & ponds were cleared by the help of members of the society. The members of the society aware the public about water which they use and society also has been very active in the field of raising awareness about good sanitation facilities in the slum area. Lack of good sanitation facilities is curse for the majority of the urban population. Disproportionately increasing, population has made the situation more worse. All the efforts made by the civic authorize have failed to achieve the targets. There is need for voluntary organizations to come forward and help the civic authorities in providing sanitation facilities to more and more people. Our society has created various cleanliness drives in various localities.
13. CRECHE
Creche center are running under society’s kind guidance at block of district. The main aim of this crèche was to help working who are unable to protect their children in their working hours.
14. COSUMER AWARNESS PROGRAM
Consumer Awareness Camps were organized to make public aware of the rights available under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. The programs were highly appreciated by the attendants. It is generally found that the consumers, despite of paying competitive prices are offered low quality products by the companies. Though the products are packed in very attractive package but their quality happens to be very low. This way consumer gets cheated every day by the producers and sellers. The situation is not too different in the cases of service also. The attendant of the program were explained various remedies available to them under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 and the rules and procedure for filling the suit way and manner of filling the suit way and manner of filling the appeals.
Further, they were given names & addresses of different consumer associates whom they can contact in case of need.
15. AIDS & CANCER AWARENESS PROGRAM
No disease has ever ended the life, the way AIDS does. HIV has become the biggest challenge before the mankind. As because it is an infectious disease the danger that is poses in immense. The only way to escape AIDS is to be aware of all the ways in which AIDS can take place. A camp was organized by the society at Block of District to educate people about the causes of AIDS and the precautions that one should take at the time of talking injections blood etc., besides this the experts also described in details the reasons for cancer and the precautions needed to be taken generally to remain safe from cancer. The awareness campaign against included road shows and small meetings in the villages.
There was no other business to transact. Therefore the meeting was terminated with vote of thanks to chair.
